Curfews listed by community for northwest Ohio

As school lets out, many communities in northwest Ohio have curfews for kids and teens to follow. Here are the curfew times for some communities. We'll update the list as we get more information.

Toledo

In Toledo, the curfew is a misdemeanor, and kids can spend up to a year in prison. Additionally, parents of children who miss curfew can also be arrested.

The times for Toledo are:

  • Kids age 10 and under have to be off the street by 10 p.m.
  • Kids ages 11 to 15 must be in by 11 p.m.
  • Teens ages 16 and 17 must be home by midnight.

No curfew law

The following communities do not have a curfew law on the books according to their police departments: Bowling Green, Maumee, Sylvania, and Perrysburg.

Port Clinton

  • 14 and under must be home 11 p.m. nightly
  • Ages 15-18 must be home by midnight

Sandusky

  • 14 and under must be in by 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and 10 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday
  • 15 and over must be in by midnight on Friday and Saturday and 11 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday
