(WTOL) - More video of the tornadoes that ravaged the area is coming to light. News 11 now has extended footage of the Millbury/Lake Twp. tornado and surveillance camera video from Cabela's in Dundee, MI.
The Millbury tornado video comes from cameras set up by the Draconi Security Agency which supplies surveillance for a trucking company on SR 795 in Lake Twp.
It's right across from the police and township administration building.
On the video the twister is clearly seen through a series of flashes of power lines exploding.
As it continues to spin, it spreads destruction closer and closer to the police building.
It would claim two lives in the area, destroy Lake High School, and then claim three more lives as it moved into Millbury.
The CEO of the security agency believes still images reveal two tornadoes and plans on showing it to the National Weather Service.
In the surveillance video of the Dundee, MI, tornado from a camera mounted on top of the Cabela's store you can see the trees swaying.
Cabela's was less than a football field from a direct hit and employees were inside working the overnight shift.
"They felt their ears popping and they could feel the pressure in the building and they could feel it shaking," Joe Ross, Cabela's store manager said. "It was pretty scary for them."
The workers ran into their warehouse which also serves as their tornado shelter. No one was hurt and amazingly there was only minor roof damage to the store.
