5 school levies fail in greater Toledo area, 4 pass

TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Levies failed in Tuesday's election for Toledo Public Schools, Oregon, Rossford, Springfield and Sylvania.

The TPS levy failed with 59 percent voting against it. The Springfield levy failed by just 53 votes. All schools said budget cuts would initiated if the levies failed.

Schools that passed levies include Bowling Green, Lake, Ottawa Hills and Perrysburg. Lake passed both levy requests.
