ADA, OH (WTOL) - Every Super Bowl Sunday, men take the field. But they couldn't play without the help of some women in Ada, OH.
Every Super Bowl ball has been made at the Wilson factory in Ada.
Sharon Mullins has worked at the factory for 42 years. Her sister has been there more than 30 years.
Now their children are getting involved as well. "I think it's good that you got someone else in your family, and this is one big family because we all work together," said Chrissy Oakes.
Each ball is handmade. "A lot of people think it's all done by machines, but we are the machines," said Wilson employee Jackie Oakes Long.
The plant also makes footballs for youth, high school, and college teams along with the NFL.
