ROSSFORD, OH (WTOL) - A Rossford principal could spend up to 24 years behind bars after police say they found child pornography on his computer.
Officers arrested 45-year-old William Buzzell, the principal of Glenwood Elementary since Aug. of 2000, at his home Tuesday morning.
Buzzell if facing three felony counts of pandering sexually oriented materials involving a minor.
According to court records, investigators found images of minors touching themselves on his computer.
In addition, investigators say Buzzell shared and downloaded child porn.
Perrysburg police were vague on some details, but say they can identify people online who share sexually explicate materials of juveniles.
Police searched Glenwood Elementery and Buzzell's Perrysburg home during their investigation.
Perrysburg Police Department Deputy Chief Mike Gilmore says cases like this turn his stomach. "There's a victim there -- that's the child."
Police say they contacted Rossford schools as soon as they arrested Buzzell. They also want to talk to students and staff.
In fact, a district staffer says a special school board meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Buzzell is on administrative leave, as is standard procedure, pending the outcome of the investigation.
