The community of Clyde still doesn't know why its children are getting cancer. The EPA completed drinking water tests this week but did not find a cause for the cancer cluster.
How disheartening this news must be for the people in this otherwise, perfectly normal town. Their children inexplicably remain at risk.
WTOL began investigating this horrible cancer cluster more than two years ago. After countless interviews and emails and stories in newscasts, the state government finally got an EPA official to run some tests.
Yet this mystery remains unsolved. I pledge to the people of Clyde that WTOL News 11 will not go away. We will continue to be your very public advocates. I have read your emails. I will remember your pain.
