TOLEDO (WTOL) - The mayor has hired a law firm out of Columbus to fight the recall effort. He claims the group Take Back Toledo that organized the recall campaign did not collect enough valid signatures.

The signatures have been validated, however, by the Board of Elections.

The mayor told News 11 he is only concerned with balancing the city budget right now and keeping the city safe, so he is not concerned with the recall efforts.
