Sometimes you get involved with a story that just overwhelms you with its power and emotional appeal. Tim Berta's story touched me that way.
Tim was tragically injured in the Bluffton College bus crash. Doctors held out little hope that he would ever again be mobile. Last week, Jerry Anderson's profile of Tim revealed a vibrant and smiling young man. He walked, talked and joked with Jerry. He even ran down the street.
And get this, he returned to college and graduated with the goal of becoming a nurse to help others. God Bless you Tim Berta. Thank you for reminding us about the power of determination, faith, hope and family love.
