Because of our extensive work in assisting veterans obtain benefits that they have earned and deserve, Windhaven Eldercare Center has been awarded the designation of "Veteran 1st Community" by The American Association for Wartime Veterans.
If you are a veteran or surviving spouse of a veteran, you could be entitled to a monthly Aid & Attendance tax free benefit through the Veterans Administration. A veteran could receive about $1,650 per month; a surviving spouse is entitled to benefits of about $1,050 per month.
The basic requirements necessary to apply for this benefit follow:
If you can answer ‘yes' to the above requirements, you should apply for this benefit. We will be glad to work with YOU and the American Association of Wartime Veterans so that you can receive any benefits that you are entitled to because of your sacrifice to our country in its greatest time of need.
Our veterans gave of themselves to keep our great country the ‘land of the free'. To honor the men and women who served their country with pride, Windhaven Eldercare Center has developed the HONOR & PRIDE program. This program is in addition to any benefits that may be received through the Aid & Attendance benefit.
Now that it is our turn to honor and give back to our veterans and to pay homage to their unselfish service to our country, we are offering the following incentive to veterans who move into any of our three Assisted Living facilities:
Refund of the facility fee of $500 upon move in.
