The national election results have implications for Ohio.
One year after President Obama was elected on a platform promising change, the people of New Jersey and Virginia evidently think change is necessary. It just isn't the change Obama had in mind.
In this case, Democrats were thrown out of statewide offices and replaced with conservative thinking Republicans.
I'm betting that message thudded on the doorstep of Ohio's Governor Strickland. He is running for re-election next year and his competition will look and sound a lot like the guys who just got elected in New Jersey and Virginia.
We also learned that Ohioans love their libraries. Library issues passed all over the state.
This is another in-your-face message to Governor Strickland who has treated libraries rather badly in his budget cuts.
