Negroni

Makes 1 cocktail

1 ounce gin

1 ounce sweet vermouth, such as Cinzano Rosso

1 ounce Campari

Thin slice of blood orange

Combine all ingredients in an ice filled shaker. Shake until well chilled and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a thin slice of blood orange.

Raspberry Prosecco Cocktail

Makes 6 cocktails

12 fresh raspberries

6 ounces Chambord

1 bottle Prosecco

Place 2 raspberries in the bottom of each of 6 Champagne glasses.  Add 1 ounce of Chambord to each glass and top with Prosecco. 

Manhattan

Makes 1 cocktail

2 ounces Kentucky bourbon, such as Maker's Mark 
1/2 ounce sweet vermouth, such as Cinzano Rosso 
1 -2 dashes bitters 
1 cherry, with stem (or maraschino cherry) 
1 twist orange peel

Combine the bourbon, vermouth and bitters in an ice-filled pitcher or cocktail shaker. Stir gently, until very cold.

Place the cherry in a chilled cocktail glass and strain the bourbon mixture over the cherry. Rub the orange peel over the rim of the glass and drop into the drink.
