Predator Alert: Efrem Smith captured

(WTOL) - Just one week after he was featured as our Predator of the Week, Efrem Smith is off the streets.

Police say the 34-year-old was arrested Wednesday.

Smith molested his victim when she was just eight years old.

She told police he threatened to beat her if she did not cooperate or take off her clothes.

He failed to register as a sex offender last month.
