Citrus Scouring Powder

All-purpose scrub for sinks, tubs, countertops and toilets to kill germs and remove stains.

1 cup Borax

1 cup Baking Soda

20 drops citrus essential oil (such as sweet orange, lemon or lime)

Combine all ingredients in a plastic container with a shaker top.  Shake well.  To clean, sprinkle a small amount of the powder and scrub with a damp sponge.  Rinse well.  For stubborn stains, rinse with white vinegar and then follow with a hot water rinse.

Citrus Degreaser

All-purpose kitchen cleaner perfect for stovetops and appliances.

2 cups water

1/3 cup white vinegar

1 teaspoon liquid castile soup*

1 teaspoon borax

10 drops citrus essential oil (such as sweet orange, lemon or lime)

Combine all ingredients in a plastic spray bottle and shake well.  Spray on surface and wipe with a damp cloth or sponge.  Dry with a lint-free cloth.

Pine Disinfectant

For those who like that pine-clean scent.

2 cups water

2 teaspoons borax

12 drops pine or cedar essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a plastic spray bottle and shake well.  Spray on surface and wipe with a damp cloth or sponge.  Dry with a lint-free cloth.

Glass Cleaner

Great for cleaning mirrors, windows and faucets.

1 ½ cups white vinegar

½ cup water

8 drops citrus essential oil (such as sweet orange, lemon or lime)

Combine all ingredients in a plastic spray bottle and shake well.  Spray on surface and wipe with a lint-free cloth.

Wood Cleaner and Dusting Spray

½ cup oil soap (such as Murphy's oil soap)

¾ cup water

5 drops citrus essential oil (such as sweet orange, lemon or lime)

20 drops pine or cedar essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a plastic spray bottle and shake well.  Spray on surface and wipe with a lint-free cloth.
