TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - The Ottawa Hills police officer found guilty for shooting and paralyzing a man is requesting a new trial.
An attorney for 27-year-old Thomas White filed the motion Friday.
White was found guilty of felonious assault with a gun specification for shooting 24-year-old Michael McCloskey during a traffic stop.
White faces up to 11 years in prison.
