TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Fire crews responded to a suspicious fire in the 500 block of Walden in east Toledo on Monday night.

Investigators say it was the fifth suspicious fire in Toledo that day. They say this blaze started when old furniture caught on fire in the living room of the first floor.

The FBI joined Toledo fire investigators at the scene of the Walden fire to interview neighbors about suspicious activity.

Also on Monday, Assistant Fire Chief Luis Santiago said they have determined it is mostly teens and gangs who have set more than 80 suspicious fires. Though, there seem to be several different reasons, based on evidence they've found at the scene of the fires.
