TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Some entrance ramps to I-475 will close August 1 for a massive construction project.
Entrance ramps at Monroe, Central and Upton will close on I-475 eastbound.
The project will widen I-475 and will take approximately three years to complete. It's estimated to cost $63 million.
The goal is to widen single-lane ramps at the I-75/I-475 junction, but other ramps and widening are included to improve overall traffic in the area.
Unfortunately the I-75/I-475 ramps won't be open to full capacity until the I-75 project is built.
