CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Prosecutors are seeking a rare federal death penalty against the man charged in Cleveland's deadliest fire.
Eight children and a mother was killed in the fire on East 87th Street in 2005. Police say convicted drug dealer, Antun Lewis set the fire.
The federal death penalty comes into play because the mother, 33-year-old Madeia Carter rented the home through a federal Section 8 rent subsidy.
The trial is set for September 1st.
