Palmwood Ave. fire in central Toledo being called suspicious

TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Fire crews are calling a house fire suspicious in the 1400 block of Palmwood Avenue early Monday. That's near Detroit Avenue.

Neighbors say several adults with small kids live in the house but no one was home when the blaze broke out.

The entire home suffered fire and smoke damage. A building inspector has been called out to determine if the home has to be torn down.

The fire chief is calling the fire suspicious and says they are investigating the cause.
