TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Fire crews battled one house fire in east Toledo and a second in central Toledo late Sunday and early Monday. Both are being called suspicious.
The first fire happened just before 11 p.m. Sunday on Second Street near Oswald. The duplex had heavy smoke that covered the entire neighborhood.
Investigators say it was vacant and that the fire started in the back of the house. They also say the structure suffered extensive damage.
Crews responded to a second fire in central Toledo on Fulton Street between Cherry and Collingwood. Investigators say they believe that house is also vacant. Heavy fire burned through the roof.
