1 3/4 Cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
½ cup sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
½ cup shortening
½ cup creamy peanut butter
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
48 Chocolate kisses
Stir Flour, soda and salt together; add remaining ingredients except kisses. Mix at medium speed. Pat dough together in a big ball and chill for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 12 minutes. Immediately press chocolate kiss into each cookie. Cookie will crack around edges.
