TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - The City of Toledo is planning a complete reconstruction of Sylvania Avenue between Jackman and Lewis later this year.
Crews are currently working to install new sewer and storm water lines near the corner of Sylvania and Lewis.
City council is considering several other projects this year. They include repaving Heatherdowns between Reynolds and Eastgate, reconstructing portions of Westwood and Delaware, as well as improvements along Dorr, Jackson and Main.
The city is using nearly $7 million to attract $6 million in state and federal funding.
While other main roads could be added to the 2011 street improvement plan in Toledo, it's likely residential street repaving will not be included because of budget constraints.
