Suspicious fires destroy 2 Old West End homes

TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - A fire that destroyed two vacant homes in the Old West End neighborhood of Toledo is being called suspicious.

Firefighters responded around midnight Friday on the 2600 block of Maplewood.

Investigators say the blaze started at one vacant house and quickly spread next door to another  house.

Crews had to tear down the first home and say the second suffered major damage.
