Let's give a tip of the hat to the administration of the University of Toledo for bringing the women's NIT basketball tournament to town.
Due to their perseverance and willingness to take a risk, we have been entertained with some mighty fine basketball. In addition, a lot of people have come to Toledo to see the games and hang out. That's a good thing.
The tournament brings national attention to the university, the campus and the newly remodeled Savage Hall. That's a very good thing.
The UT ladies have played super and just might win the tournament. No matter what, this has already been a winning proposition for northwest Ohio and for UT. Well done. Go Rockets!
