LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Mark Schauer has made his campaign for governor official. The Democrat has turned in about 27,000 signatures from all 83 counties. DETROIT (AP) - Authorities say a 24-year-old Detroit man ran over another man twice in a car and left him for dead after a fight at a gas station. Authorities said today that Napoleon Turner the Third is charged with first-degree murder in the April 5th death of 39-year-old Eric Miles of Detroit. It wasn't immediately clear this afternoon if Turner had an attorney.

PONTIAC, Mich. (AP) - Deputies checking a report that neighbors hadn't seen a Pontiac man since last fall have found him dead in his bed.
