(WTOL) - The mess at Ohio State is getting uglier.
A Sports Illustrated article claims quarterback Terrelle Pryor may have taken a lot of money under the table for signing autographs.
And then, there is that whole issue of Pryor and others driving cars under questionable circumstances.
The NCAA has no choice but to dig deep and come down hard.
It is a day of reckoning that Ohio State will not sidestep. Nor should it try.
This could be the blow that knocks big time college athletics on its heels. With billions of dollars at stake, I suspect there are a lot of big school athletic directors and coaches wringing their hands right now.
If Ohio State, with a coach preaching zero tolerance and full transparency, can fall, who's next?
