OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma City Thunder secured the No. 2 playoff seed in the Western Conference by rallying from 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Detroit Pistons 112-111 last night. Oklahoma City had lost two straight to put itself in the must-win situation in the regular-season finale to earn the No. 2 seed. Kevin Durant scored 42 points.

DETROIT (AP) - Zach McAllister allowed a run and four hits in six innings as the Cleveland Indians held on for a 3-2 win over the Detroit Tigers last night. McAllister walked two and struck out four and John Axford pitched the ninth for his fifth save for Cleveland. The Indians had lost 18 of their previous 23 against Detroit.

(AP) - Michigan State has signed Marvin Clark Jr. to a letter of intent. The Spartans added the forward to a recruiting class that also includes Lourawls Nairn and Javon Bess. Clark and Narin attend Sunrise Christian Academy of Bel Aire, Kansas.

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (AP) - Frank Esposito Jr. shot a 3-under 69 yesterday for a share of the second-round lead with Stan Cooke in the Senior PGA Professional National Championship. Esposito made a 25-foot eagle putt on the par-5 16th on PGA Golf Club's Wanamaker Course. The top 35 will earn spots in the Senior PGA Championship at Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor.
