TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) -The city of Toledo is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or people responsible for dozens of arsons.
There have been two more fires early Friday morning. Joe Stoll is at that scene.
Fire investigators say there have been 75 arsons this year in the Glass City. There have been 12 suspected arsons in just the past week.
"It is frustrating because it's taxing on our resources, it's a danger to the public, and it's a danger to the firefighters, which gives me great concern," said Toledo Fire Chief Luis Santiago. "I take it serious, and I take it personal."
Santiago said arsons come with only a 10 percent arrest rate because it's so difficult to prove.
