TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - A woman has been charged in Saturday's west Toledo hit and run that left one person dead.
Kadie McCurdy, 27, from Temperance, is set to face a judge Monday morning on aggravated vehicular homicide charges after a man was found dead in the middle of Laskey Road.
Investigators say alcohol is likely to have played a role. McCurdy had a blood alcohol level of 0.182 more than twice the legal 0.08 limit. The level was taken at 5:15 a.m. which was more than two hours after the incident.
An autopsy on the victim is scheduled for Monday.
His identity has not been released. According to the Lucas County Corner, Dr. James Patrick, authorities have not been able to find relatives to notify of the man's death.
