(Source: Courtney Rehbein)BOWLING GREEN, OH (WTOL) - The fire at Vehtek Systems, Inc. plant in Bowling Green has been contained by Bowling Green firefighters. The blaze only affected the new construction at the plant and no injuries have been reported.
The fire began around 10:30 a.m. Monday at the plant located at 2125 Woodbridge Boulevard.
The plume of smoke rising from the fire was visible for many miles. It appears that work on the roof of the structure may have ignited construction materials.
Vehtek Systems, Inc. is a Class A stamping, closures and welding sub-assemblies plant for the automotive industry.
