I was thrilled to join the StormTrack11 Weather team in May 2011! Coming from Macon, Georgia where I was both a meteorologist as well as a reporter, I've worked through some of the most severe weather I've ever seen in my life. After a little less than two years in the south, I'm happy to call Toledo home and only be a short drive from my family and hometown in Western New York.

It's hard to pinpoint the moment I decided to become a meteorologist because I remember loving all aspects of weather my entire life. Of course, I lived for the snow days and winter storms of my hometown, but growing up, my family also traveled a lot, so seeing the range of weather from Buffalo's blizzards to the severe weather of the Midwest allowed me to develop a passion for forecasting early.

A desire to learn more and share my interest with others led me to Al Roker's Alma Mater, SUNY Oswego, where I saw waterspouts, amazing thunderstorms, and eleven feet of snow over the course of just three days!!

Broadcasting became an option for me later in my college career, so I focused mostly on my meteorology degree as well as my math minor up until I joined the campus news station my senior year. From there, my passion for weather grew exponentially, and I eventually made my way to Macon where my forecasting was tested on a regular basis. Before leaving Georgia, I helped forecast for over 5 severe tornadic storm events in the course of one single month.

Here at WTOL, I split weekday forecasting responsibilities with fellow meteorologist, Ryan Wichman during the week for WTOL 11 News at Noon, and I wake up with you every weekend for WTOL 11 Your Morning Saturday at 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. and WTOL 11 Your Morning Sunday at 7 a.m.

My number one goal is to provide YOU, my audience, with the most accurate and clear forecast that I can. I feel blessed to be able to do what I love for a living each day and to be able to share it with you.

I moved to Toledo with my rescue dog, Ginger, and together she and I love to spend time outdoors and meet new people.
