Casino to resume construction amid parking garage collapse - ToledoNewsNow.com: News, Weather & Sports for Toledo, OH

Rock Ohio Caesars has received approval from the City of Cleveland to resume construction on the Horseshoe Casino parking structure located at Ontario and Prospect Streets. 

In the coming days, construction crews will begin clearing a damaged section of the structure, which collapsed Friday, Dec. 16, and will then resume construction on the five-level parking deck.  

Fortunately no workers were injured in the incident.  A cause of the incident remains unknown at this time.  Investigations by OSHA and the project owners are ongoing.
