Cajun Shrimp Alfredo
2 Tablespoons olive oil
Ten cleaned and deveined shrimp
Half tablespoon minced garlic
2 oz white wine
Quarter cup yellow onion
8 oz Alfredo noodles
2 oz parmesan cheese
8 oz heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Cajun spice to taste
Tablespoon butter
Begin with boiling off the Alfredo noodles, adding a little salt to the water will add flavor to the pasta. Using a saute pan add your oil. Once oil is just hot add shrimp and cook half way. Then flip all your shrimp and add the onions with a little salt and pepper. Add your garlic and white wine and let wine reduce briefly. Add heavy cream and butter and let cream reduce for a minute or so until it's thick enough to stick to a spoon. After cream has reduced add parmesan cheese to taste and add more salt and pepper and Cajun spice if needed. Have your pasta cooked off and drained then add it to the cream and mix thoroughly. Finish with a little parmesan on top.
