GIBSONBURG, OH (WTOL) - A grain dryer caught fire early Friday afternoon at the Countyline Co-op grain elevator in Gibsonburg, Ohio.
Volunteer firefighters from Gibsonburg and two other communities were able to extinguish the fire and Countyline employees are now attempting to extinguish all of the smoldering embers still present in one of three silos on the site.
According to the Gibsonburg Fire Chief, 900 bushels of soybeans were destroyed.
Two volunteer fire departments from neighboring communities also responded, but they have since left.
No warnings or evacuations have been issued for the community.
