
TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Toledo fire crews spent Thursday morning battling a vacant house fire in the Old West End. It happened on Maplewood just after 3:30 a.m.
The house was vacant and the blaze is being investigated as arson.
The flames got into the walls and burnt the first and third floors.
A neighboring home, that was also vacant, was damaged in the fire as well.
A firefighter tripped and fell coming out of the house but was not seriously hurt. No one else was injured.
