Toledo woman facing murder charges in death of partner

TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - A Toledo woman is facing murder charges in the stabbing death of her partner.

Police arrested Jane Campos, 45, on Saturday night after her partner Jeffrey Fitzpatrick, 50, was found dead with at least one knife wound to his chest at 1319 Greenwood Avenue in east Toledo.

Toledo Police Sergeant Joe Heffernan says Campos initially called 911 and told dispatchers Fitzpatrick wasn't breathing.

Police believe that Fitzpatrick was involved in a domestic fight with Campos.

Campos will be arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court Monday morning.
