TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Fire crews responded to fires in north Toledo and west Toledo late Monday and early Tuesday.
North Toledo
A vacant home went up in flames early Tuesday on east Hudson and Maple in north Toledo. Crews wrapped up around 4 a.m.
Investigators report the people who lived there moved out a short time ago. The cause is under investigation.
West Toledo
An apartment fire in west Toledo displaced residents and is being investigated as suspicious.
It happened just before 10:30 p.m. Monday on Nantuckett near Monroe and Laskey in west Toledo.
Crews say people living on the third floor smelled the smoke coming from an apartment below them.
Several units were evacuated and no one was hurt.
Investigators say the apartment was vacant where the fire began. At least three apartments were damaged by the flames.
