FINDLAY, OH (WTOL) - The last time Cooper Tire management sat down with union leaders since their heavily publicized lockout was December 15, 2011. On Monday, over a month later, the two sides met again.
The talks ended between the United Steel Workers and Cooper Tire on Tuesday afternoon with no resolution from either side. A spokesman for the union tells WTOL both sides left discussions at a Findlay Hotel about 1:30 this afternoon.
The Union is trying to set up an information meeting for workers this weekend.
Calls to Steelworkers Local President Rodney Nelson and Cooper Tire have not been returned.
