TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) – Toledo Police say Kiron Renfroe, 20, is responsible for Thursday's shooting in north Toledo.

Duron Bell, 32, was shot at Stickney Ave. and Bronson in the chest, leg and armpit as he was chased through his neighborhood. Another bullet grazed the victim's ear.

A warrant has been issued for Renfroe, and detectives are searching for him around the city.

Bell was shot as he was trying to get away, and ended up making it to the American Petroleum gas station, which is located across from Woodward High School. He was rushed to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, and doctors believe his injuries are not life-threatening.

Residents of the neighborhood say they are sick of the violence that has become so common.

"Folks are just kind of sick of the violence here, in this neighborhood. Is that what you think? Yeah because it is beginning to be a real problem." said Justin Wells, who heard the shots being fired.

Police say they do not have a motive yet in the shooting, but say the victim may have known the shooter.
