LENAWEE COUNTY, MI (WTOL) - US-223 in Lenawee County is open again at Slee Road after an overturned semi truck closed it for several hours early Wednesday morning.
For four hours, the highway was at a standstill because a double-trailered semi rolled over.
The driver of the semi was not hurt.
The sheriff said it was likely caused by black ice, which was in the area Wednesday morning until temperatures rose above freezing. Roads were still slippery from Tuesday's snowfall, but it is unclear if the accident was caused by these weather conditions.
