TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) – A north Toledo woman is saying she witnessed her mailman steal her coupons from her mail and her neighbors mail before he delivered it to her home.
The woman says that she had been missing her coupons for a few weeks when she began to keep an eye out for her mailman, who she suspected of stealing the coupons she uses to save on diapers and wipes for her three children.
The woman called the United States Postal Service, and a spokesperson says she did speak with a manager, who determined she did in fact receive all of her coupons, but fewer than usual were sent out.
The spokesperson also stated that the mail carrier on that route has not had any previous complaints, and there's nothing more to investigate.
The woman says she knows she saw something wrong, and she hopes the USPS looks further into the issue.
