TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Both sides are waiting for a decision in the Thomas White case. He's the Ottawa Hills officer who shot and paralyzed Michael McCloskey during a traffic stop in 2009.
White was convicted of felonious assault but would like to appeal.
The Sixth District Court of Appeals in Lucas County heard arguments Thursday from both sides.
The panel of three judges is now considering the arguments and will decide if an appeal will be granted.
