Dead elderly couple's car found in Parma, miles away from murder scene

PARMA, OH (WOIO) -

Police have found the car of an elderly couple who was killed inside a home on the city's west side.

Their bodies of 75-year-old James Riley King and his 72-year-old wife, Wava, were found Monday morning in the 3300 block of Virginia Avenue.

The couple's 2004 gray Buick Lesabre' with a license plate of DUL 1356 was found later that evening around 8:30 p.m.

Parma Police located the victim's vehicle in the 6000 block of State Road in Parma and detained the driver.

The Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit was notified and responded to the scene. The vehicle was towed and the male was taken into custody however, the male has not been arrested at this time.
