Women charged in connection with death of Twinsburg officer plead not guilty
CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
New developments in the 2008 murder of a Twinsburg police officer. Two women now face charges in connection with the shooting death of Officer Josh Miktarian.
Wednesday, Bridget Robinson and Danielle Roberson pleaded not guilty to several counts of obstructing justice and tampering with evidence. Bond was set at $50K for each suspect.
Bridget Robinson is the sister of convicted killer Ashford Thompson. Danielle Roberson was Thompson's girlfriend, and witnessed the execution-style shooting. She fled the scene with Thompson after the fatal shooting.
Thompson is currently on death row for killing Officer Miktarian in July of 2008 after he was pulled over for loud music and suspected drunk driving. Thompson, armed with a concealed weapon, shot the married father four times in the head.
