Make your own recovery drink, which is higher in potassium than the other "ades" and utilizes fruit's natural sugar, while keeping all the benefits of the full fruit in the drink!
(Makes roughly 3 – 8 oz servings)
2 Cups Fresh or Thawed Strawberries
½ Cup Fresh or Thawed Raspberries
12 oz Diet Lemon-Lime Soda
1/8 tsp Salt
1. In a blender, combine strawberries, raspberries, salt and water if needed. Cover and blend until smooth.
2. Pour mixture into a small pitcher (you may strain the mixture if you want, but you will lose valuable nutrients).
3. Slowly stir in carbonated beverage, and serve over ice cubes. Enjoy!
