PERRYSBURG, OH (Toledo News Now) – A Perrysburg woman has been arrested, accused of stealing almost $100,000 from student organizations.
Perrysburg police arrested and charged Kiki Lorann, 35, Tuesday. Police say Lorann took $48,727.73 from the Perrysburg Elementary Parents Association, $43,792.67 from the Toth Parent Club and $3,067.21 from the "Perrysburg Sting" traveling baseball team.
Lorann was charged with one count of theft and two counts of grand theft, all felonies. She was released on $7,500 bond.
Police say the investigation began when representatives of the Perrysburg Elementary Parents Association contacted them about missing funds. The investigation later spread to the other organizations.
