TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - Police are still looking for a suspect responsible in a shooting that killed one man and injured another Thursday night.
Vicktron Moore, 30, of Toledo, died of a gunshot wound. Terrance Cohen, 37, was shot in the shoulder but is expected to survive.
Cohen told police the pair were in a car at the intersection of Tecumseh and Miller when a person Moore was speaking with began shooting at them. Cohen ran away, but Moore remained inside the car, which then lurched forward and crashed into a nearby vacant home.
Police are still investigating a motive but said Moore had a lengthy criminal history and that the murder was possibly drug-related.
Cohen's aunt said crime is a problem in the neighborhood.
"Too much crime. Too much crime in the neighborhood. They're running up to cars, just shooting at cars and everything nowadays," said Sue Ortiz.
The police have no suspects at this time.
