Attempted abduction suspect pleads guilty

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The man accused of trying to kidnap a 12-year-old Cleveland girl pleads guilty and is sentenced to 4 1/2 years in prison.

Edward Crider grabbed the girls arm near the Puritas Rapid station on May 30.

The victim managed to escape and was not hurt.

Crider's attorney says he is a chronic alcoholic and was drunk at the time.

He is married with children.
