(TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - The Michigan State Spartans will play their men's basketball opener against Connecticut at an Air Force base in Germany, ESPN.com reports.
This is pending approval by the Department of Defense, but Ramstein Air Base in Germany is the proposed location. That's the home of the U.S. Air Forces in Europe.
The game will be on November 9, prior to Veterans Day. It would start late, sometime after 10 p.m. local time in Germany, for an early evening East Coast start time. It would be televised on ESPN.
The Spartans and North Carolina played on the deck of an active aircraft carrier in California to tip off last season.
