
TOLEDO, OH (TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - Detectives responded to two unrelated shootings around the same time in central Toledo early Wednesday.
First, police report Bryant Anderson was shot in the upper torso around 4 a.m. in the 1900 block of Calumet. They say he lives on the block where the shooting happened.
Anderson was rushed to a local hospital by ambulance. His injuries are non-life threatening.
Investigators are still searching for the person who pulled the trigger.
Shortly before that, police were called to a McDonald's restaurant on Collingwood where a man was shot in the leg.
Few details are available. Police were still piecing together whether he was shot by someone else or accidentally shot himself. They also did not release whether he was shot at the restaurant or went there for help afterwards.
