Emilie Voss now anchors the 5, 6, and 11 p.m. newcasts along Jerry Anderson. She also investigates and solves consumer problems as a member of the Call 11 for Action team.
Emilie is originally from California, but during her 2 years as a morning anchor in Michigan, she fell in love with this region. She loves the people, outdoors, and the weather. She is one of those odd people who is happiest on a cold dreary day. Snow? Even better!
Emilie spent 6 years as a morning anchor before moving into her role as prime time anchor in Toledo. Most recently she was in Palm Springs, California, where she was voted Best TV Personality in Desert Magazine. Before that she was up bright and early in Lansing, Michigan.
Emilie started her career on the Western Slope of Colorado in Grand Junction. She was a weekend anchor and reporter. She also shot and edited most of her own stories, and produced the newscasts she anchored.
Although well aware she is now in Buckeye Country, Emilie is a Trojan fan. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, and a minor in theater.
Outside of work she loves to travel, hike and do pretty much anything outdoors. She is excited to explore everything Northwest Ohio has to offer.
